ePayment Services Notice / Waiver and Payment Notice

For those using the ePayment services in lieu of an initial court appearance (arraignment), please know you will be making a plea of guilty to the charges as stated on your citation. You are admitting your guilt of the offenses charged and waive your right to contest the offenses in a trial before the court or jury. The Court will accept your plea and find you guilty of those offenses. Further, if the citation involves traffic offenses, you realize that a record of this plea will be sent to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. You also acknowledge that you have not been convicted of, pleaded guilty to, or forfeited bond for two or more moving traffic offenses within the last 12 months.

If you do not agree to the plea of guilty, please arrange to be at Willoughby Municipal Court for your scheduled arraignment. If you did not show insurance at the time of your ticket, it must be faxed to 440.953.4149 by 4:00 p.m. on the day of your arraignment. If you don’t show proof of insurance the BMV will suspend your license. On-line payments are assessed a convenience fee of 5%.
